Duane Saunders Co. Ltd. is a family owned and operated business founded in 1987. Our head office is located in the foothills of Sundre with areas of operation extending from Blairmore to Fox Creek.

The Saunders family for three generations have been in the oilfield industry and have passed on the knowledge and experience from grandfather to father and now onto the son Kevin Saunders. Kevin Saunders is the vice president and operations manager for Duane Saunders Co. Ltd.  He is responsible for the day to day operations managing a fleet of 25 trucks with trailers, 40 pieces of heavy equipment, a gravel pit and crusher. 

The fleet that is owned by Saunders ranges in years from 2003 to 2019 being the newest. It is maintained and operated with certified heavy duty mechanics, operators, and labours. The fleet consists of dozers, excavators, graders, packers, loaders, skid steers, rock trucks, gravel trucks, lowbed trucks, and, a multiple of different trailers. By having the variety of equipment it allows Saunders to perform a broad scope of work. We have a vast knowledge and experience in building roads, leases, reclamation, clean ups, trucking gravel and drill cuttings. We also supply heavy hauling of oilfield equipment and pilot truck. 

Saunders currently owns one gravel pit west of Sundre and maintains a second pit in the Panther area.  The equipment purchased for the gravel pit in Sundre allows Saunders to wash, screen and crush the gravel supplied from this location. This equipment is transportable and we supply custom crushing to other companies with gravel pits.
